UPDATE 6:36 p.m.: The Brewers-Cardinals doubleheader on Sunday has been postponed, according to ESPN’s Jeff Passan. That wipes out the entire three-game series.

The Milwaukee Brewers home opener remains further delayed. They were set to face the St. Louis Cardinals on Friday, but two Cardinals players tested positive for Covid-19, resulting in the decision to play one game Saturday and a doubleheader on Sunday. Now, the Saturday game has also been postponed, according to reporter Jon Heyman.

There are reports of multiple additional Cardinals players personnel testing positive for Covid-19, according to reporter Craig Mish. Ken Rosenthal reported the number being between four and six players.

UPDATE: Mark Saxon is reporting “most” of the positives were staff, not players. He followed that up with a report that of the four new positives, three are staff and one is a player.
