Highlights from Tuesday in MLB: The Show Players League: Joey Gallo is a monster

Joey Gallo is the Joey Gallo of digital baseball. We break down video highlights from the “MLB: The Show” players’ league for Tuesday, April 15th.

The digital MLB season is now past the quarter pole, and one team is running through the rest of the league in dynastic and dramatic fashion. We’ve got a look at some video highlights from the “MLB: The Show” players’ league.

That man is the undefeated Joey Gallo, who made it as dramatic as possible to stay perfect in the MLB’s The Show Players League. Down two runs in the third and final inning to Eduardo Rodriguez and the Boston Red Sox, the Rangers outfielder hit a walkoff home run to stay flawless. Gallo is now 8-0 and just mashing dingers in every game. He’s the ‘27 Yankees of this league so far.

Bo Bichette of the Toronto Blue Jays is also making waves early, as he’s currently 7-1 through the 29-game season. But when he beat up on Lance McCullers and the Houston Astros last night, he also did it while playing as himself in the game!

Amir Garrett for sure leads the MLBTSPL in trash-talking. The Reds southpaw is a non-stop motormouth on Twitch during games, but this one came back to bite him. Immediately after running some smack at Jeff McNeil for throwing to the wrong base — he gets caught up in a pickle between third and home to make the final out of the inning!

And how about it for the Marlins Ryne Stanek, who finally got his first W. But it was quite entertaining as Ty Buttrey of the Angels brought himself in to send the game to extra innings and... Whoops.
