The Boston Red Sox and Los Angeles Dodgers are working to get a deal done involving star Mookie Betts, according to The Athletic’s Ken Rosenthal. Betts trade rumors have been percolating all offseason, and Rosenthal is reporting a deal could happen Tuesday evening if medical reviews are completed.

Rosenthal is reporting the Red Sox would send Betts and David Price to the Dodgers and get a package built around outfield prospect Alex Verdugo. The deal could involve a third team to get more parts involved, per Rosenthal, but for the time being it’s the Red Sox and Dodgers.

The Dodgers win total at DraftKings Sportsbook opened at 97.5 while the Red Sox win total opened at 88.5. Both have been removed from the board while this gets sorted out.
