Starting pitchers, lineups, odds for Nationals-Cardinals Game 2

The Nationals beat the Cardinals in Game 1 of the National League Championship Series. Game 2 is set for Saturday, October 12th. We’ve got a full rundown of the starting pitchers, starting lineups, and notable odds.

The St. Louis Cardinals host the Washington Nationals in Game 2 of the 2019 National League Championship Series on Saturday, and first pitch is scheduled for 4:08 p.m. ET on TBS. The Nationals beat the Cardinals 2-0 in the season-opener behind 8 23 innings of no-hit baseball from starter Anibal Sanchez.

Starting Pitchers

The Cardinals will start Adam Wainwright. He finished the regular season 14-10 with a 4.19 ERA and 1.43 WHIP. He started 31 games this season and struck out 153 batters over 171 23 innings pitched. He made two starts against the Nationals this season. He pitched 13 13 innings and was 2-0 with eight strikeouts and a 1.35 ERA.
