The New York Rangers are off to an 18-5-1 start in the 2023-2024 season. Shane O’Brien and Scott Upshall are back with another episode of Missin Curfew, presented by DraftKings Network. The episode breaks down the Rangers’ season and discusses how much of an impact that goalie Jonathan Quick has had on the team’s success.

The episode previews the Avalanche Alumni Game that will be held in Aspen. OB recaps being in the Bahamas for the Hero World Challenge. The NHL is considering de-centralizing the draft, meaning that the players wouldn’t necessarily congregate in the same place on draft night. Before that change is made, however, the league announced that the 2024 NHL Draft will be held at the Sphere in Las Vegas, Nevada.

O’Brien and Upshall talk about Patrick Kane signing with the Detroit Red Wings. They also talk about NFL football, fantasy football, Brock Purdy and what is happening with MLB free agency concerning Shohei Ohtani and Shoto Imanaga.
