The college football regular season has wrapped up. Now, attention turns to the pending College Football Playoff matchups as teams gear up for bowl season. This year presents an interesting problem as there are four undefeated teams, yet nobody seems to believe in Florida State.

Mike Golic Sr. and Jessica Smetana are back with another episode of Golic & Smetty, presented by DraftKings Network. The duo begins this episode recapping their Thanksgivings before diving into the CFP discussion. They talk about how Florida State could be undefeated, but without their starting quarterback, there is a call for a 1-loss Texas or Alabama team to get into the CFB over them if they win their conference title this weekend.

The tandem recaps the recent barrage of coaching changes across the league and highlights Texas A&M’s hiring of Mike Elko. They signed him to a $42 million contract despite the $75 million they still owe Jimbo Fisher.

Golic Sr. and Smetana shift to the NFL and begin with the Pittsburgh Steelers, who played their first game after offensive coordinator Matt Canada was fired. For the first time in nearly three full seasons, the Steelers’ offense tallied over 400 yards, and for the first time this season, they weren’t outgained.

Golic and Smetana discuss prominent Week 13 matchups before giving early playoff and Super Bowl predictions. This episode ends with a look ahead to the next Formula 1 season.
