We have an eight-game slate for tonight. As usual, there are a bunch of injuries to monitor, so keep track of all pertinent updates at DK Live. As of now, I’m not looking to pay up for many of the top players unless value opens up. There are options in the tiers below. The smaller a slate gets, the more important raw points become, but an eight-game slate provides plenty of options.

In terms of back-to-backs, none of the teams played last night. HOU, SAC and TOR play tomorrow night.

DraftKings Sportsbook has two games with a total of at least 235 - ATL/CLE (237) and GSW/SAC (235.5). The lowest totals are CHA/NYK (221) and CHI/BOS (220). There are two double-digit favorites - NYK -12 over CHA and BOS -13.5 over CHI. There are two games within 2.0 points - BKN -1.5 over TOR and SAC -1.5 over GSW. There is one home dog - MIA.

Fred VanVleet, Houston Rockets at Dallas Mavericks ($8,100) – The usage rate has gone down for VanVleet this season, from 22.8% last season to 20.3% and he’s attempting 1.6 fewer shots. The assists have spiked by 1.8, though. Over the last five games, he’s dished out double-digit dimes in all but one game while contributing a fair amount of rebounds and steals. He’s scored double-digit points in seven straight and gone for at least 35 DKFP in all of those contests, with four of those over 40 and a high of 51. Most importantly, he’s played at least 39 minutes in the last seven, and minutes are half the battle. Yo, Joe! Finally....hold up, I need a cigarette....Dallas has boosted the FPPM to point guards by 10.71% this season. There are many more players who may put up more raw DKFP, but considering the price, I like VanVleet the best.

Other Options - Donovan Mitchell ($9,200), Anthony Edwards ($8,900), Jalen Brunson ($8,200), Terry Rozier ($7,400)

Bogdan Bogdanovic, Atlanta Hawks at Cleveland Cavaliers ($5,700) – Bogdanovic is the microwave off the bench for the Hawks. He hucks and chucks and blows the nets down. On the season, he’s attempted fewer than 10 shots in a game only once while being held to single digits only once as well. Normally, he plays in the low-to-mid 20-minute range, but he received 32 minutes of run on Sunday.

Jalen Johnson is out with an injury so it’s very possible that Bogdanovic continues to see elevated playing time. It is well within the range of outcomes that Sunday was an outlier and he reverts back to mid-20s, but I lean towards him continuing to see close to 30 minutes.

Other Options - Immanuel Quickley ($5,300)

Cameron Johnson, Brooklyn Nets vs, Toronto Raptors ($6,100) – Johnson only put up 25 DKFP on Sunday, but that’s because he exited the game after 22 minutes due to leg cramping. He plans to play tonight, so keep an eye on updates throughout the day.

Johnson made his season debut on November 10th, playing 25 minutes. While he played 35 minutes the following game, the team kept him below 30 minutes for the next three games. Last week, he was finally unleashed for 38 and 35 minutes. Johnson contributed 42.25 and 45 DKFP.

While Johnson is primarily known as a three-point shooter, his game has more balance to it than that. He’s grabbed at least five rebounds in every game this season, with a high of 10. He has dished out six, five and five dimes in the last three games and has three multi-steal games.

Tonight’s matchup is a good one, as the Raptors have boosted the FPPM to small forwards by 11.11%, with a massive 27.77% boost for three-pointers.

Other Options - Julius Randle ($8,700), Miles Bridges ($8,000), Evan Mobley ($7,600), DeMar DeRozan ($7,300), Draymond Green ($6,200)

Jaime Jacquez Jr., Miami Heat vs. Milwaukee Bucks ($5,400) – Jacquez was playing only around 18 to 20 minutes to start the season, but that should be viewed as a positive because the coaching staff trusted him to be a part of the rotation from the get-go. As the season progressed, the minutes increased while the production didn’t wane. He’s played over 30 minutes in seven of the last nine games and put up at least 30 DKFP in five of them despite starting only one of those contests. While the Heat are getting some players back for tonight, there are still a few others that are questionable. Regardless, Jacquez is going to play. It’s just a matter of how much.

Other Options - RJ Barrett ($5,900)

Alperen Sengun, Houston Rockets vs. Dallas Mavericks ($8,500) – They call him Baby Jokic for a reason, as Sengun can do it all. He’s an excellent passer, can score and rebound and has been chipping in defensive stats as well. Over the last seven games, Sengun has scored at least 20 points in all but one and has been garnering a usage rate in the 30% range. While he has not messed around yet this season, Sengun has come close more than a few times. He’s triple-doubled twice in his career and I have a not-so-sneaky suspicion that number will grow as the season progresses. Sengun has exceeded 55 DKFP in two of the last three games.

Other Options - Domantas Sabonis ($10,100), Jarrett Allen ($6,400), Nic Claxton ($6,300), Jakob Poeltl ($6,000), Al Horford ($6,000)

Luke Kornet, Boston Celtics vs. Chicago Bulls ($4,100) – The range of outcomes is wide for Kornet. I wouldn’t be surprised if he scored six or 25 DKFP. That said, he did put up 28.5 two games ago and playing time shouldn’t be an issue, as Kristaps Porzingis is out while the Bulls likely won’t go small with one of Vucevic or Drummond on the court at all times.

Other Options - Onyeka Okongwu ($4,800)
