The 2023 PGA TOUR schedule has already brought plenty of excitement and intrigue to the golf world as larger-than-life characters compete on courses across the world. The release of Netflix’s Full Swing earlier this year brought these golfers to life for many fans, and as they play the PGA TOUR schedule week in and week out, you can check out our updates and recaps of each PGA TOUR tournament and major here.
Below is the full schedule of the remainder of the 2023 PGA TOUR schedule.
2023 PGA TOUR schedule
Majors
The Masters
Winner: Jon Rahm -12 over Brooks Koepka/Phil Mickelson -8
The rain came down over Augusta in the first head-to-head showdown between the PGA TOUR and LIV Golf. To many, Rahm’s win seemed representative of more than just a green jacket. Rahm shot a 69 in the final round to win his second major, and Koepka fell apart with a 75 on Sunday.
PGA Championship
Winner: Brooks Koepka -9 over Scottie Scheffler/Viktor Hovland -7
Koepka wasn’t down for long, coming back swinging for his third PGA Championship win. Though it was a close field heading into Sunday and Hovland stayed close for much of the day, Koepka pulled away in the final few holes after keeping a steady lead all day. He joined the elite five-major club with the win.
U.S. Open, June 15-18
Winner: Wyndham Clark -10 over Rory McIlroy -9
After a banner first day for Xander Schauffele and Rickie Fowler, whose pair of 62s had fans questioning the choice of course for the major, Clark pulled ahead with a steady and consistent performance. His first day ended up making all the difference as Clark went shot for shot with McIlroy over the final three rounds. This marks Clark’s first major win.
The Open Championship, July 16-23
Location: Hoylake, England
Course: Royal Liverpool Golf Course
Favorite to win: Rory McIlroy +800
Winner: Brian Harman -13 over Tom Kim, Sepp Straka, Jason Day, Jon Rahm -7
Harman ran away with the British Open early on. He shot a 67 and 65 in the first two rounds to earn a comfortable lead, and while it looked like Rahm and others could be encroaching on Saturday, Harman stayed consistent. He kept his cool to finish with a 69 and 70 on Saturday and Sunday — it wasn’t even close.
Regular Schedule
Charles Schwab Challenge, May 25-28
Location: Forth Worth, Texas
Course: Colonial Country Club
Favorite to win: Scottie Scheffler +450
Winner: Emiliano Grillo
Grillo gets his first PGA TOUR win in over seven years with this playoff victory over Adam Schenk. Both golfers shot a -8 over four days, and Harry Hall and Scottie Scheffler finished T3 at -7. Grillo took the lead at Hole 16 in the final round after trailing for most of the weekend, and double-bogeyed 18 to force a playoff.
Memorial Tournament, June 1-4
Location: Dublin, Ohio
Course: Muirfield Village Golf Club
Favorite to win: Scottie Scheffler +600
Winner: Viktor Hovland
Hovland took home his first PGA TOUR victory since 2021, defeating Denny McCarthy in a one-hole playoff at Muirfield Village. Both Hovland and McCarthy finished 7-under Par after the final round on Sunday. The favorite to win the tournament — Scottie Scheffler — finished just behind Hovland and McCarthy at -6.
RBC Canadian Open, June 8-11
Location: Toronto, Ontario
Course: Oakdale Golf & Country Club
Favorite to win: Rory McIlroy +450
Winner: Nick Taylor
Taylor rallied to force a playoff with Tommy Fleetwood, sinking a 72-foot eagle to win the RBC Canadian Open. He became the first Canadian-born golfer to win the RBC in 69 years. Taylor defeated Fleetwood 12-13 in the playoff and both golfers finished the final round at -17 for the tournament.
Travelers Championship, June 22-25
Location: Cromwell, Connecticut
Course: TPC River Highlands
Favorite to win: Scottie Scheffler +600
Winner: Keegan Bradley
Bradley grabbed his second win of the season at this elevated event, pulling ahead with some all-time putting. With Patrick Cantlay and Rory McIlroy breathing down his neck, Bradley pulled through over the weekend to hold onto his lead.
Rocket Mortgage Classic, June 29-July 2
Location: Detroit, Michigan
Course: Detroit Golf Club
Favorite to win: Tony Finau +1200
Winner: Rickie Fowler
Finau, the favorite, actually ended up missing the cut here. Fan favorite Rickie Fowler grabbed his first PGA TOUR win since 2019 after an impressive showing at the U.S. Open. The tournament saw a very exciting Sunday, with Fowler, Adam Hadwin, and Collin Morikawa ending up in a three-way playoff after finishing 72 holes at -24.
John Deere Classic, July 6-9
Location: Silvis, Illinois
Course: TPC Deer Run
Favorite to win: Denny McCarthy +1400
Winner: Sepp Straka
It was a tight race for a while, but Straka put together an incredible finish on Sunday, coming back from 133rd place after Thursday play to win it all. He shot nine under in the final round, and at one point was in a position where it looked like he could legitimately shoot a 59, though he came up with a 62. Brendon Todd and Alex Smalley were the runners-up.
Scottish Open, July 13-16
Location: North Berwick, Scotland
Course: Renaissance Club
Favorite to win: Scottie Scheffler +650
Winner: Rory McIlroy
McIlroy put together a dominant win here. Leading the field by a single stroke going into Sunday, he had a rough front nine and bogeyed four. But he made it up on the back end, and when he needed one birdie in the final two holes to force a playoff, he birdied both to win it. Robert MacIntyre was the runner-up.
Barbasol Championship, July 13-16
Location: Nicholasville, Kentucky
Course: Keene Trace Golf Club
Favorite to win: Taylor Pendrith +1800
Winner: Vincent Norman
Vincent Norman grabbed his first ever PGA TOUR win here. He and Nathan Kimsey came down to a playoff after shooting -22 for the tournament, and Norman won by a single stroke.
3M Open, July 27-30
Location: Blaine, Minnesota
Course: TPC Twin Cities
Favorite to win: Tony Finau +1200
Winner: Lee Hodges
Lee Hodges opened the tournament with a field-best 63 and kept it going in the Twin Cities. He pulled away fast and early, defeating the three golfers tied in the runner-up position by a full seven strokes.
Wyndham Championship, August 3-6
Location: Greensboro, North Carolina
Course: Sedgefield Country Club
Favorite to win: Sungjae Im +1600
Winner: Lucas Glover
The last tournament before the FedExCup playoffs, the Wyndham Championship brought a field of golfers hoping to earn those last possible points to qualify in the top 70. Lucas Glover pulled through in a tight field that saw him neck-and-neck with Russell Henley for most of Sunday’s play. He finished with a -20, two strokes ahead of the runners-up.
FedEx St. Jude Championship, August 10-13
Location: Memphis, Tennessee
Course: TPC Southwind
Favorite to win: Scottie Scheffler
Winner: Lucas Glover
Glover has now won back-to-back weeks after switching to a long putter, changing the weak point in his game. With such a strong field, Glover had to be mentally tough throughout Sunday play with plenty of talented golfers within two or three strokes of his lead. He ended up in a playoff with Patrick Cantlay and pulled it out by one stroke to finish at the top of the field.
