The 2024 Sony Open tees off on Thursday, January 11 from Wai’alae Country Club in Honolulu, Hawai’i. This marks the PGA TOUR’s first full-field event of the year. Here are our top picks to win it all.

All odds are courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook.

Tyrrell Hatton +1600

Hatton grabbed a T14 finish at the Sentry last week after putting out multiple top-15 finishes at European events to wrap up 2023. Hatton did not compete at last year’s Sony, but is one of the favorites to win this year. He ranks sixth in the field in total strokes gained and fifth in SG: Tee to Green and SG: Approach. Hatton should be a competitor deep into Sunday at Wai’alae.

Russell Henley +2000

Henley had something of a down year in 2023, but he made a push toward the end with a T5 at the Wyndham and a T10 at the Rocket Mortgage Classic. Henley should be competitive in this field. He ranks seventh in total strokes gained over the last six months, and fourth in SG: Tee to Green. Henley was the runner-up at Wai’alae in 2022, and finished T32 last year.

Akshay Bhatia +5000

Bhatia is our longshot pick. He had a solid T14 finish at last week’s Sentry Tournament of Champions, and that would have been better if not for a tough final round. Bhatia, just 21 years old, leapt onto the PGA TOUR scene last year with strong finishes at the Puerto Rico Open and Mexico Open. While he faded toward the end of 2023, I like him as a low-investment, high-reward bet here.
