With just five games on Tuesday’s NBA slate, finding quality value plays for a bargain price in DFS lineups will be a challenge. Unlike NFL DFS, where one pick can make or break your lineup or it’s tough to find quality low-tier value, NBA DFS differs.
In NBA DFS, you can find quality value plays $5K or under that can give you a quick 10 points off the bench, grab some rebounds, or stuff the stat sheet. We are going to provide you with three players that you need to put in your lineup.
Josh Hart, Knicks, $4,800
Hart has been on fire recently, using his ability on the boards to rack up big fantasy numbers. He’s getting decent minutes in this rotation as well, largely due to the absence of Mitchell Robinson. The Trail Blazers rank 27th in fantasy points allowed to opposing forwards, meaning Hart has a great opportunity to deliver a massive showing Tuesday evening. He’s averaging 24.4 DKFP per game over the last five games.
Caleb Houstan, Magic, $4,700
Due to the injury to Franz Wagner, Houstan has been getting minutes for Orlando. The forward appears to be the preferred option on the wing for the Magic, and he’s been taking advantage of this bump in playing time. Houstan is averaging 26 DKFP per game over the last three, and should have enough volume to do well against a tough Timberwolves defense.
Harrison Barnes, Kings, $4,500
After back-to-back 26+ DKFP outings, Barnes had a quiet night against the Pelicans with just 14.3 fantasy points. However, he has an excellent matchup tonight against a bad Pistons side to get back on track. Detroit ranks 25th in fantasy points allowed to opposing forwards, setting up Barnes for a big night.
