The 2024 College Football Playoff National Championship will be held at NRG Stadium in Houston, Texas on January 8, 2024. This is the tenth year of the CFP, and will be the last title game of the four-team Playoff era.

The national title will feature the Big Ten champion No. 1 Michigan Wolverines against the Pac-12 champion Washington Huskies. This is the first undefeated matchup since 2020, when LSU beat Clemson 42-25 in the SuperDome to claim the trophy, and will be the third time both teams enter the game unblemished.

NRG Stadium opened in 2002, and was previously known as Reliant Stadium. The home of the NFL’s Houston Texans was the first NFL facility with a retractable roof, but that will be closed on Monday night. It also has hosted three Final Fours (2011, 2016, 2023), two Super Bowls (38 and 51), and will be a venue for the 2026 FIFA World Cup as well.
