While the ACC might have controversially missed out on the College Football Playoff with the Florida State Seminoles being the only undefeated major conference champion to ever not make the national semifinals, the league will have some presence in the CFP National Championship Game.

An ACC officiating team will be on the whistles for the No. 2 Washington Huskies vs. the No. 1 Michigan Wolverines on Monday, January 8 at NRG Stadium in Houston.

The crew will be helmed by referee Marcus Woods, who has also been in the NFL’s Mackie Development Program for officials for the past five seasons. Woods is a graduate of North Carolina A&T, and back judge Michael Griffith is the other member of the crew in the Mackie program currently.

Here is the ACC officiating crew that has been assembled for the 2024 College Football Playoff National Championship Game:

Referee: Marcus Woods
Umpire: Danny Worrell
Head Linesman: Troy Gray
Line Judge: Deon Lawrence
Field Judge: Wayne Rundell
Side Judge: Michael McCarthy
Back Judge: Michael Griffith
Center Judge: Larry Saunders
Alternate: Michael Roche
Replay: Mark McAnaney
Communicator: Jeff Roberson
