The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are heading to the 2024 NFL Playoffs. They won their third consecutive NFC South title with a win over the Carolina Panthers in Week 18. This grants them a home-field advantage in the Wild Card round, where they will play the Philadelphia Eagles.

The Buccaneers didn’t clinch a playoff berth until they beat the Panthers. The NFC South was likely only getting one team into the playoff picture, and the Buccaneers, Atlanta Falcons, and New Orleans Saints still all had a path to the playoffs entering the week. Tampa Bay was win and in and didn’t waste the opportunity with the 9-0 victory.

The Eagles had a chance to earn the NFC’s No. 2 seed but needed a win over the New York Giants and a Dallas Cowboys loss to the Washington Commanders. Unfortunately for Philly, they lost to the Giants and rested starters after being down over 20 points by halftime.
