The Buffalo Bills are heading to the 2024 NFL Playoffs. They came into Week 18 in a win and in situation against the Miami Dolphins, but could miss the playoffs entirely depending on certain results around the league. Luckily for the Bills, the pressure was alleviated as the Jacksonville Jaguars lost to the Tennessee Titans and punched Buffalo’s ticket to the playoffs. The Bills were then able to get by the Dolphins to win the AFC East and get the No. 2 seed in the AFC playoffs. We go over their matchup for the first round at home.

2024 Wild Card round matchup

Bills vs. Steelers

Date: Sunday, Jan. 14
Time: 1 p.m. ET
TV channel: CBS/Paramount+

The Bills and Steelers didn’t play each other during the regular season. Buffalo also enters this matchup on a five-game winning streak, which aided in winning the division and stealing homefield advantage from the Dolphins. The Steelers ended the season on a three-game winning streak and have found a capable starting QB in Mason Rudolph for the time being. The issue is the status of pass-rusher T.J. Watt, who was injured on Saturday in Week 18 vs. the Ravens.
