Even though there are nine games on Sunday’s NBA slate, only six are part of the main DFS slate. That makes finding value plays a bit more challenging. Unlike NFL DFS, where one pick can make or break your lineup or it’s tough to find quality low-tier value, NBA DFS differs.
In NBA DFS, you can find quality value plays $5K or under that can give you a quick 10 points off the bench, grab some rebounds, or stuff the stat sheet. We are going to provide you with three players that you need to put in your lineup.
Dwight Powell, Mavericks, $4,700
Powell is likely to get the start for Dallas against the Timberwolves tonight, and that makes him a good addition to DFS lineups. The big man is much more productive when he gets decent playing time. He scored 24.8 DKFP in 26 minutes in his last game, and tallied 45.5 DKFP in 30 minutes against the Timberwolves a few games earlier. Even though Minnesota is a tough matchup. Powell’s volume should be enough to make him a solid addition.
Harrison Barnes, Kings, $4,600
Barnes has been a bit up and down this season, but the veteran forward has topped 26 DKFP in back-to-back games ahead of an important contest against the Pelicans. New Orleans has been one of the better defensive teams in the league, especially over the last five games. Barnes might be slowed down a bit but if he can get hot from deep early, he’ll be able to put together a nice fantasy outing.
Dario Saric, Warriors, $4,500
Saric has settled into his bench role nicely for Golden State. Excluding a fantasy dud against the Magic, the forward has been averaging 23.8 DKFP over a five-game stretch. Draymond Green is still sidelined despite his suspension being over, which means Saric should maintain his minutes in tonight’s game against the Raptors. He’s worth adding to your lineup at this price point.
