Where are the Jets drafting in 2024 NFL Draft? Who might they pick in mock draft?

We look at Jets’ draft position in the 2024 NFL Draft and break down who they may select in the first overall

The New York Jets wrapped up their 2023 season with a win over the New England Patriots to move to 7-10 for the season. They were doomed from the start — after an offseason centered around the acquisition of veteran quarterback Aaron Rodgers, Rodgers sustained a season-ending injury in Game 1. They expect him to return to the field next year. With the Week 18 win, the Jets earn the 10th overall pick of the draft.

Jets draft order: 10th pick

The Jets sit among a group of 7-10 teams in the draft order. Had they lost this game, they could have moved up two or more spots.

Jets mock draft: Potential first-round pick

The Jets’ biggest needs are largely on the offensive side of the ball. We could see them grab an offensive tackle with the 10th pick — Joe Alt out of Notre Dame, Taliese Fuaga out of Oregon State, or JC Latham out of Alabama. They may go the receiver route, instead, to give Rodgers some stronger targets in 2024 — if Malik Nabers or Rome Odunze are still on the board at No. 10, the Jets may find it hard to leave them there. Georgia’s Brock Bowers — unlikely to fall that far — would be a solid all-around option at tight end, as well.
