Update: The Seahawks have been eliminated from playoff contention.

The Seahawks are still in the running for a Wild Card berth as they head into their Week 18 matchup against the Cardinals. They are competing for the seventh seed in the NFC. If you are a Seahawks fan, you’ll have a few games you’ll be paying attention to as they look to improve their chances of a playoff berth.

Seahawks vs. Cardinals

The Seahawks enter this week’s matchup against the Cardinals as 2.5-point favorites at DraftKings Sportsbook. They will need a win or tie to qualify for the playoffs this week, and at least one other piece will need to fall into place in order for Seattle to grab a Wild Card.

Packers vs. Bears

One of the easiest ways that the Seahawks get in is with a Bears win or tie in this NFC North matchup. The Packers are also in the running for a Wild Card spot, and a loss here would place the Seahawks ahead of Green Bay. The Packers enter as 3-point favorites and will have Seattle fans rooting against them this week.

Result: The Packers defeated the Bears, 17-9.

Saints vs. Falcons

Another way for the Seahawks to get into the playoffs is if the Bears win (and don’t tie) and the Saints lose or tie against the Falcons. Packers fans should be cheering for the Falcons here, who enter as 3.5-point underdogs.

Result: New Orleans destroyed Atlanta in a 48-17 blowout victory.

Buccaneers vs. Panthers

The Seahawks can also reach the postseason if the Bears win (and don’t tie) and the Panthers beat the Buccaneers. This is a fairly unlikely scenario given the Panthers’ track record this season.

Result: Tampa Bay shut out Carolina 9-0 to clinch the NFC South.
