The New York Knicks will attempt to start another winning streak Saturday when they face the Memphis Grizzlies on the road. The Knicks will attempt to go into their four-game home stand with a bit of momentum, and they’ll hope star point guard Jalen Brunson will be available for the game. Brunson is dealing with a calf injury and here’s the latest on his status for Saturday’s game.

Jalen Brunson injury updates

Update: Brunson has been ruled out, which means McBride is good to fire up in DFS lineups as he’s set to get the start against an injury-riddled Memphis team.

Brunson has officially been listed as questionable for this contest, although the expectation is that he does suit up. Brunson did pop up on the injury report against the Mavericks but ended up playing 39 minutes in the close loss. The Knicks have been tremendous this season with Brunson on the floor, sporting a 121.7 offensive rating when he’s on the floor against a 112.4 offensive rating when he’s off it.

If Brunson is unable to suit up for this game, Miles McBride should be the starting point guard. McBride is likely a low-cost play in DFS lineups as he hasn’t gotten much playing time behind Brunson and Immanuel Quickley, who is now in Toronto. Julius Randle and OG Anunoby would likely see more shots in the offense as well.
