We’ve got 10 games on Friday’s NBA slate, but only eight games make up the main DFS slate. Unlike NFL DFS, where one pick can make or break your lineup or it’s tough to find quality low-tier value, NBA DFS differs.
In NBA DFS, you can find quality value plays $5K or under that can give you a quick 10 points off the bench, grab some rebounds, or stuff the stat sheet. We are going to provide you with three players that you need to put in your lineup.
Kyle Anderson, Timberwolves, $4,900
Anderson logged 38.5 DKFP in Minnesota’s overtime loss to the Celtics, and he’s got an opportunity for big minutes once again Friday. The Timberwolves are playing the Trail Blazers, who have routinely allowed opponents to get big leads. That’ll push Minnesota to rest its starters a bit, meaning more usage for Anderson. The forward has averaged 19.5 DKFP per game this season, but should be able to top that against a bad opponent.
Alex Caruso, Bulls, $4,800
It’s been a great stretch for Caruso of late. He’s topped 28 DKFP in five of the last seven games and gets a great matchup against the Warriors at home tonight. Golden State ranks 20th in fantasy points allowed to opposing wings, and Caruso’s role as a starter should give him the chance to continue his strong play. He’s averaging 33 minutes per game over the last three, so the workload will be there against a favorable opponent.
Caleb Houstan, Magic, $4,800
Franz Wagner remains out for Orlando, which means Houstan should continue to get the start. The forward has produced when given a big role, averaging 24.7 DKFP per game over the last four contests. The Heat have been stellar defensively, but are slightly below the league average when it comes to fantasy points allowed to opposing small forwards. Back Houstan to deliver a strong outing in tonight’s game.
