There are five games on Thursday’s NBA slate, but only four feature as part of the main DFS slate. That gives users limited options when it comes to finding value plays. Unlike NFL DFS, where one pick can make or break your lineup or it’s tough to find quality low-tier value, NBA DFS differs.

In NBA DFS, you can find quality value plays $5K or under that can give you a quick 10 points off the bench, grab some rebounds, or stuff the stat sheet. We are going to provide you with three players that you need to put in your lineup.

Taurean Prince, Lakers, $4,600

After going for 8.8 fantasy points in his first game of 2024, Prince has logged 20+ DKFP in three straight contests ahead of Thursday’s matchup against the Suns. Phoenix has been solid against opposing small forwards, but the team has been destroyed in the fourth quarter of games. Prince will get big minutes as a starter and should see plenty of looks from deep, which gives him some upside as opposed to other low-cost options.

Derrick Jones Jr., Mavericks, $4,900

Jones Jr. is averaging 25.9 DKFP per game over the last three contests, and should get plenty of run tonight against the Knicks with Dallas missing several key rotation players. The combo forward isn’t exactly a featured player in this offense but should get more touches tonight in what should be a shortened rotation for the Mavericks. The Knicks are slightly below the league average when it comes to fantasy points allowed to opposing forwards, so the matchup is favorable enough to back Jones Jr. in DFS lineups.

Cason Wallace, Thunder, $4,500

The rookie guard has not seen much playing time with Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Josh Giddey starting, but Wallace could get more run if this contest against the Trail Blazers turns into a bit of a blowout. Wallace is averaging just 14.3 DKFP on the season, but has topped 20 DKFP in two of the last four games. This matchup is favorable enough to back the combo guard to get more usage and deliver one of his better stat lines this season.
