Monday Night Raw returns to your screens tonight with a new episode coming live from Pechanga Arena in San Diego.

Happy New Year everyone! Tonight’s show has been billed as a special “Day 1” episode to kick off 2024 for the company. There’s plenty to look forward to tonight, including a title clash months in the making.

How to watch Monday Night Raw

Date: Monday, January 1
Time: 8 p.m. ET
Location: Pechanga Arena, San Diego
Network: USA Network
Live stream: USA Live Stream, USA App

What to watch for on Monday Night Raw

  • The main event will feature Seth Rollins defending the World Heavyweight Championship against Drew McIntyre. This feud goes back to the fall, where Rollins successfully defended his title against McIntyre at Crown Jewel. Already descending into madness, McIntyre became even more frustrated after the loss and even opposed Rollins’ WarGames team by aligning with the Judgement Day. After defeating Sami Zayn last month, McIntyre was awarded this opportunity to once again fight for the belt.
  • Becky Lynch will go one-on-one with Nia Jax in a match that is just over five years in the making. Jax broke Lynch’s nose in the fall of 2018, leading to an iconic image of Lynch posing with a bloody nose. Jax has claimed that she was responsible for “The Man” becoming one of the biggest stars in the entire company and she’s looking to put Lynch down.
  • Rhea Ripley will face Ivy Nile in a continuation of Diamond Mine’s feud with the Judgement Day.
  • Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select reported that a former WWE Champion will appear on tonight’s episode. Triple H himself acknowledged the rumor and told fans to stay tuned.
  • Tegan Nox and Natalya will face Shayna Baszler and Zoey Stark in tag team action.

Predictions for tonight’s episode

  • Drew McIntyre wins the World Heavyweight Championship, ending Seth Rollins’ eight-month reign with the title. It’s just about time to get the belt off of Rollins, especially with a potential match with CM Punk at Wrestlemania coming up.
  • After wrestling each other on house shows over the holidays, Dominik Mysterio challenges CM Punk to a match on an upcoming episode of Raw.
  • The Rock is revealed as the former WWE Champion to appear on the show. He was in Pasadena at the Rose Bowl earlier today.
  • A few superstars declare themselves for the Royal Rumble later in the month.
  • Becky Lynch defeats Nia Jax.
