MLB starting lineups: Wednesday, June 7

Oakland Athletics vs. Pittsburgh Pirates, 12:35 p.m. ET

Ryan Noda moves into the leadoff spot as Esteury Ruiz sits, while Seth Brown bats second and gets a start in left field. Ramon Laureano will play right with JJ Bleday in center.

Andrew McCutchen will lead off as the DH with Connor Joe getting a start in right with a lefty on the mound. Mark Mathias and Rodolfo Castro will handle the middle-infield duties.

Seattle Mariners vs. San Diego Padres, 4:10 p.m. ET

Julio Rodriguez is up to the two-hole with Jarred Kelenic and Teoscar Hernandez in the corner outfield spots and Mike Ford at DH.

Still no Xander Bogaerts, as Ha-Seong Kim fills in at shortstop with Jake Cronenworth at second, Webster Rivas at first and Matt Carpenter at DH.

Detroit Tigers vs. Philadelphia Phillies, 6:05 p.m. ET

Zack McKinstry leads off again with Nick Maton serving as the DH, Akil Baddoo in center and Jonathan Schoop getting a start at third.

Kyle Schwarber continues to lead off with Brandon Marsh in center, Kody Clemens at first and Josh Harrison at third.

Kansas City Royals vs. Miami Marlins, 6:10 p.m. ET

Nick Pratto leads off yet again with Bobby Witt Jr. down to fifth in the order and Michael Massey serving as the DH.

Bryan de la Cruz gets a day at DH as Jorge Soler continues to nurse a sore thumb. Yuli Gurriel will play first with Garrett Hampson in center and Jon Berti in left.

Minnesota Twins vs. Tampa Bay Rays, 6:40 p.m. ET

Jorge Polanco will lead off with Alex Kirilloff at DH for the injured Byron Buxton and Trevor Larnach in left. Willi Castro gets the nod in center over Michael A. Taylor.

Josh Lowe returns to the lineup, leading off and playing left field with Randy Arozarena serving as the DH. Taylor Walls fills in for Brandon Lowe at second with Luke Raley at first and Isaac Paredes at third.

Arizona Diamondbacks vs. Washington Nationals, 7:05 p.m. ET

No Lourdes Gurriel Jr. again for Arizona, with Pavin Smith starting in right and Corbin Carroll shifting to left. Emmanuel Rivera gets the nod at third while Evan Longoria will serve as the DH with a lefty on the mound.

Lane Thomas leads off with Corey Dickerson in left and Riley Adams spelling Keibert Ruiz behind the plate.

Chicago White Sox vs. New York Yankees, 7:05 p.m. ET

Jake Burger will serve as the DH as Eloy Jimenez starts in right and Gavin Sheets sits.

Houston Astros vs. Toronto Blue Jays, 7:07 p.m. ET

Jose Altuve finally returns to the lineup after battling an oblique injury for the past few days, playing second and batting second. No Kyle Bregman or Jeremy Pena tonight, as Mauricio Dubon and rookie Grae Kessinger will man short and third, respectively.

Brandon Belt will DH tonight with Whit Merrifield at second and Tyler Heineman spelling Alejandro Kirk behind the plate.

Boston Red Sox vs. Cleveland Guardians, 7:10 p.m. ET

Triston Casas returns to the lineup with Enrique Hernandez back at short and Jarren Duran starting in center.

The Guardians continue to stick with the usual lineup despite their offensive struggles, with Will Brennan in right and Mike Zunino behind the plate.

Los Angeles Dodgers vs. Cincinnati Reds, 7:10 p.m. ET

Chris Taylor gets a start in left field against a lefty with Miguel Rojas at short and Jonny DeLuca spelling James Outman in center.

Elly de la Cruz will get his first MLB start at shortstop, batting cleanup once again with Matt McLain serving as the DH.

New York Mets vs. Atlanta Braves, 7:20 p.m. ET

Brandon Nimmo and Jeff McNeil sit atop the order with Brett Baty at third, Francisco Alvarez behind the plate and Daniel Vogelbach at DH.

Business as usual for the Braves, with Marcell Ozuna at DH and Eddie Rosario starting in left.

Baltimore Orioles vs. Milwaukee Brewers, 7:40 p.m. ET

Adam Frazier leads off tonight, with Aaron Hicks in center, Ryan O’Hearn at first base and Josh Lester getting another shot at DH.

St. Louis Cardinals vs. Texas Rangers, 8:05 p.m. ET

Brendan Donovan leads off and starts at second base with Nolan Gorman at DH, Alec Burleson in left and Tommy Edman in center.

Jonah Heim will get a day at DH with Sandy Leon starting behind the plate for Texas. Travis Jankowski and Robbie Grossman spell Leody Taveras and Adolis Garcia in center and right, respectively.

San Francisco Giants vs. Colorado Rockies, 8:40 p.m. ET

Giants TBA

Charlie Blackmon will lead off and play DH with Jurickson Profar in left, Randal Grichuk in center and Nolan Jones in right. Mike Moustakas gets a start at first with Harold Castro at second base.
