The WBO featherweight title is up for grabs as rising star Robeisy Ramirez (13-1, 8 KOs) defends his belt against Rafael Espinoza (21-0, 18 KOs) this Saturday, December 9. The fight is set to take place at the Charles F. Dodge City Center in Florida and will air on ESPN/ESPN+, with coverage starting at 10 p.m. ET.

Ramirez, 29, finished his amateur career winning six gold medals, including a 2016 victory over Shakur Stevenson in Rio De Janeiro. After losing his first professional fight, Ramirez has reeled off 13 straight wins. His unanimous decision win over Issac Dogboe in April earned him the vacant WBO featherweight belt. Now the Cuban southpaw eyes a second straight title defense following a 5th-round TKO win over Satoshi Shimizu in July.

Espinoza, 29, is the crafty challenger out of Mexico who has won his last five by knockout. This will be a bump up in competition and just his third fight on United States soil. In his last bout, he made quick work of Ally Mwerangi, winning by 2nd-round KO in July. Does he have enough to pull off the upset?

Odds

Ramirez is the betting favorite with -1100 odds to win, as Espinoza carries a +650 underdog value. The favored method of victory is Ramirez by KO/TKO/DQ (-210), according to DraftKings Sportsbook.
