Devin “The Dream” Haney (30-0, 15 KOs) makes his super lightweight debut against Regis “Rougarou” Prograis (29-1, 24 KOs) for the WBC super lightweight title this Saturday, December 9. This bout will take place at the Chase Center in San Francisco, CA, with main card coverage beginning at 8 p.m. ET on DAZN.

Haney has been on a historic stretch, defeating George Kambosos Jr. twice to win and retain undisputed status at 135 pounds. His most recent victory over Vasiliy Lomachenko in May was transcendent as Haney outperformed the savvy veteran. The 25-year-old has a great ring presence and IQ, now he looks to become a two-division champion.

Prograis is an effective puncher who has an 82.7% knockout rate in his career. Like Haney, he also utilizes head movement and is difficult to hit in the ring. He won the WBC title after an 11th-round KO of Jose Zepeda in November 2022. This will be his first true headliner and expect the 34-year-old to not be afraid of the moment.

Before Haney and Prograis close out the show, the undercard features some good action across several weight classes. Ebanie Bridges (10-1, 4 KOs) defends her women’s IBF bantamweight title against Miyo Yoshida (16-4, 0 KOs). Bridges is a -700 betting favorite while Yoshida is the underdog at +400, per DraftKings Sportsbook.

The co-main event features a battle between light welterweights Liam Paro (23-0, 14 KOs) and Montana Love (18-1, 1 DQ, 9 KOs). Paro is the slim -180 betting favorite while Love carries +140 underdog odds.

Main Event Odds

Haney is a -400 betting favorite at DraftKings Sportsbook. Prograis is the underdog at +300 odds. The favored method of victory is Haney to win by decision at -240.
