Top QB value plays for daily fantasy football in Week 14

We go over some of the best cheap options at QB for the main slate on DraftKings this Sunday.

Week 14 of the NFL season has some interesting matchups for quarterbacks. Dak Prescott gets another game against the Philadelphia Eagles after throwing for 374 yards and three touchdowns in their first matchup of the season. While Prescott will run you a pretty penny if your DraftKings DFS lineups, there are plenty of value quarterbacks you can turn to.

NFL DFS Picks, Week 14: QB value plays

Gardner Minshew, Indianapolis Colts vs. Cincinnati Bengals, $5,400

Minshew has played in 12 games this season and has thrown for 2,284 yards with 10 touchdowns and seven interceptions. He was great in his last game against the Tennessee Titans. He finished 26-of-42 with 312 yards and two touchdowns in the overtime win. The Bengals’ defense allows the eighth-most DFS points to opposing quarterbacks.

Desmond Ridder, Atlanta Falcons vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers, $5,000

Ridder is fighting for his job on a weekly basis. It feels like Atlanta is giving him the rest of the season, but they are hanging onto a shot at the playoffs, so they could make a move to Taylor Heinicke if it gives them more of a chance to win. Ridder has faced Tampa Bay already this season and finished 19-of-25 for 250 yards and added 38 yards and a touchdown on the ground. The Bucs’ defense allows the seventh-most DFS points per game to QBs.

Dorian Thompson-Robinson/Joe Flacco, Cleveland Browns vs. Jacksonville Jaguars, $4,800/$4,700

At the time of this writing, Cleveland hasn’t named a starting quarterback for this week. Thompson-Robinson is in the league’s concussion protocol and missed the team’s Week 13 game, which led to Flacco starting. DTR has played in five games as a rookie and has thrown for 429 yards with one touchdown and four interceptions. He’s added 65 yards on 12 carries. Flacco finished his lone start 23-of-44 for 254 yards with two touchdowns and an interception.

Jacksonville’s defense is allowing the third-most DFS points per game to opposing quarterbacks. They last faced Cincinnati backup QB Jake Browning and he finished 32-of-37 for 354 yards with a touchdown. He also added two carries for 22 yards and another score on the ground.
