The In-Season Tournament semifinal round is here and while there are only two games to pick value plays from, that doesn’t mean there aren’t quality options to slot into lineups. Unlike NFL DFS, where one pick can make or break your lineup or it’s tough to find quality low-tier value, NBA DFS differs.

In NBA DFS, you can find quality value plays $5K or under that can give you a quick 10 points off the bench, grab some rebounds, or stuff the stat sheet. We are going to provide you with three players that you need to put in your lineup.

Bennedict Mathurin, Pacers, $4,700

Mathurin had a big showing Monday against the Celtics, going for 16 points, five rebounds and two assists off the bench to log 26.8 DKFP. Even though the Bucks have a reputation for being good defensively, they rank 19th in fantasy points allowed to opposing wing players. Even though Mathurin comes off the bench, he’s in one of the most explosive offenses in the league. Back him to deliver another strong outing at this price point.

Trey Murphy, Pelicans, $4,900

Murphy has fared well in his return to the court, averaging 26.4 DKFP over two games. He’s averaging 17.5 points per game, but there’s concern he relies too much on scoring for his fantasy output. The Lakers rank 20th in fantasy points allowed to wings, so the matchup is favorable. Look for Murphy to continue playing well since he got back on the floor.

Cam Payne, Bucks, $3,900

Even with Damian Lillard handling the majority of the point guard duties for the Bucks, Payne has gotten decent run since Pat Connaughton’s injury. The veteran guard is averaging 16.3 minutes per game over the last six, and went for 20 DKFP in 14 minutes of action Tuesday. The Pacers don’t play much defense, so Payne’s minutes have more value here as he’s more likely to be involved in positive fantasy plays. Back him at just under $4k tonight.
