NBA Player Props: Best Bets for Monday, December 4 on DraftKings Sportsbook

Jeff Pratt breaks down his favorite NBA player props for Monday’s slate.

NBA: Sacramento Kings at Minnesota Timberwolves Jeffrey Becker-USA TODAY Sports

After an action-packed slate on Saturday and a day off on Sunday, just four teams take the floor across the association tonight. We have two In-Season Tournament quarter-finals, as the knockout stage has finally concluded.

In this article, I’m going to break down favorite NBA player props on DraftKings Sportsbook for each of the two IST matchups. Without further ado, let’s get into it.

Boston Celtics vs. Indiana Pacers

Al Horford Over 18.5 Points & Rebounds (-115)

NBA: Chicago Bulls at Boston Celtics David Butler II-USA TODAY Sports

Big Al legitimately may have found the fountain of youth.

The 37-year-old continues to look just as sharp as he did during his original tenure with the Celtics. With everyone healthy, Boston has been bringing Horford off the bench this year, which has maximized his effectiveness in shorter bursts. However, with Kristaps Porzingis out due to a calf strain, the veteran has stepped into an expanded role and taken advantage of that opportunity.

Horford has easily cleared this total in three straight games, looking especially dangerous as a scorer in his last two contests against Chicago and Philadelphia. It should come as no surprise that his usage rate spiked in each of those matchups, and with Porzingis still sidelined, Horford should be in line for a large workload once again tonight.

New Orleans Pelicans vs. Sacramento Kings

De’Aaron Fox Over 33.5 Points + Assists (-140)

NBA: Denver Nuggets at Sacramento Kings Sergio Estrada-USA TODAY Sports

As incredible as Fox was last season, he has elevated his game to a whole new level so far this year.

The reigning Clutch Player of the Year is averaging 30.3 points and 6.6 assists per contest, and he has been on an offensive tear as of late. Fox has racked up 26-plus points in nine of his last 10 games while also dishing out 12-plus assists in two of his last four, including a whopping 16 (!!) on Saturday.

The superstar guard currently boasts the seventh-highest usage rate in the season, and that passes the eye test. While Domantas Sabonis is a vital piece to the puzzle in Sacramento, Fox is the engine that makes their offense go.

Getting 33.5 points and assists at -140 feels like fantastic value.

Those are my two favorite NBA player props on Monday’s slate! Stay tuned for more picks later this week.
