With just two games on Monday’s NBA slate, finding value plays will be hard to come by. That doesn’t mean there aren’t spots to find great DFS options at a low price point. Unlike NFL DFS, where one pick can make or break your lineup or it’s tough to find quality low-tier value, NBA DFS differs.
In NBA DFS, you can find quality value plays $5K or under that can give you a quick 10 points off the bench, grab some rebounds, or stuff the stat sheet. We are going to provide you with three players that you need to put in your lineup.
Harrison Barnes, Kings, $5,000
Barnes routinely gets 30+ minutes per game as a starter for the Kings, which makes him a somewhat bankable commodity in this price range. The forward is averaging 20.9 DKFP per game this season, but has topped that mark six times in the last seven games. Look for him to have a solid showing against the Pelicans in the quarterfinal round of the In-Season Tournament.
Bennedict Mathurin, Pacers, $4,700
The Celtics do present a tough matchup for Mathurin, but the wing is coming off a solid outing with 27.3 DKFP in 25 minutes against the Heat. Tyrese Haliburton is once again questionable, so there’s a possibility Mathurin gets some additional usage in this matchup. The Pacers are one of the best offensive teams in the league, and that’s something to get value out of.
Payton Pritchard, Celtics, $4,200
After some quiet showings as the third guard in this rotation, Pritchard has averaged 23.4 DFKP over the last two games. Kristaps Porzingis is out once again for Boston, and the Celtics tend to play smaller lineups this season anyway. Look for Pritchard to have another solid outing, and he’s good value at this price point.
