The Green Bay Packers (8-8) went on the road and dominated the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday (7-9), blowing out their NFC North rival in a 33-10 victory. The Packers diced up their opponent from the word go as Jordan Love threw for 256 yards and three touchdowns in the win. Aaron Jones also broke off 120 yards in the victory.

With the win, the Packers avoided elimination from playoff contention and actually jumped to the No. 7 seed in the NFC due to the Seattle Seahawks losing earlier. With their win, the Chicago Bears have now been officially eliminated from postseason contention. As for the Vikings, they are still alive in the NFC Wild Card hunt even after the loss.

Green Bay will host Chicago to close the regular season next Sunday and all it has to is win to clinch the final NFC Wild Card spot. For Minnesota, it needs tons of help to steal that last spot. the Vikings need to win their road matchup at the Detroit Lions and need losses from the Packers, the Seahawks and either the New Orleans Saints or Tampa Bay Buccaneers to make it to the postseason.
