The Houston Texans (7-5) were able to hang on against the Denver Broncos (6-6), winning the Week 13 matchup 22-17. The Broncos were mounting a fourth-quarter comeback and made it deep into Texans territory in the final minute before Jimmie Ward picked off Russell Wilson to seal the game.

Even with the win, the Texans still sit just on the outside of AFC playoff race. The Colts defeated the Titans in overtime to improve to 7-5 and since they own the head-to-head tiebreaker over Houston, they would own the final Wild Card spot in the AFC if the season ended at this very moment. Meanwhile, the Broncos are now a game back of both teams at 6-6 with five games left to play in the regular season.
