The Miami Dolphins defeated the Washington Commanders 45-15 in Week 13 to move to 9-3 for the season and jump into the top spot in the AFC playoff standings. The Chiefs and the Jaguars were the other two AFC teams that headed into Week 13 at 8-3, and each have yet to play this week. The Chiefs face the Packers on Sunday night, and the Jaguars take on the Bengals on Monday. The results of both games will affect AFC playoff standings.

The Baltimore Ravens are currently the only other team in the AFC with a 9-3 record, but have a bye this week. The Ravens will take on the Rams in Week 14. With the win, the Dolphins move to the No. 1 seed in the AFC playoff picture. They are fairly comfortable atop the AFC East, with the Bills trailing in second place at 6-6.

The Dolphins have yet to play the Cowboys, Ravens, and Bills this season.
