The Miami Dolphins will hit the road to face the Washington Commanders in Week 13 with kickoff scheduled for 1 p.m. ET on Sunday, December 3.

Within this matchup, we’ll take a look at the fantasy prospects of Dolphins RBs Raheem Mostert and De’Von Achane. Which makes for the better fantasy play in Week 13? Should you start both?

Fantasy football start sit advice: Miami Dolphins RBs

Raheem Mostert

Start. Mostert makes for a nice RB1 in fantasy this week while looking at a good matchup against the Commanders. The Dolphins RB has seen 20+ carries in back-to-back games while notching a pair of scores to boot. Despite that, he could cede some of that work to Achane, who only had one carry in those contests due to injury. Still, Mostert is a top-tier fantasy RB in a strong matchup to trust as an RB1 in Week 13.

De’Von Achane

Start. Achane is a borderline FLEX play in Week 13. The speedy RB missed last week’s game with a knee injury, but he’s trending toward playing in Week 13. If Achane plays, how many touches will he see? That’s the main question. Achane has tremendous fantasy upside and big play potential, but perhaps the Dolphins will ease him back into the mix. The uncertainty makes him a FLEX play solely based on potential, but Mostert is the much safer option of the two in Week 13.

Can you play both Raheem Mostert and De’Von Achane in the same lineup?

You can play both Mostert and Achane in the same lineup for Week 13. Mostert is the safer option to plug in your RB1 slot while Achane is a boom-or-bust FLEX play. However, fantasy managers should note that Achane is a risky fantasy play while coming off an injury, so starting him depends on the options available and overall risk tolerance.
