Below, we’ll look within that matchup to determine who is the better fantasy play between Steelers RBs Najee Harris and Jaylen Warren. Should you start both?
Fantasy football start sit advice: Pittsburgh Steelers RBs
Start. After a lackluster start to the season, Harris has come on strong by scoring a touchdown in three of his last four games. He has seen 15 or more carries in three of those outings as well, coming through with 99 rushing yards and a touchdown last week on 15 rushing attempts last week at the Cincinnati Bengals. He’s a solid RB2 against a Cardinals team that has allowed the second-most fantasy points to the running back position.
Start. Warren and Harris have split the touches in Pittsburgh’s backfield pretty evenly in the last month, but Warren comes with much more fantasy upside. Some of that is due to his explosiveness and work in the passing game. Warren has gone over 100 total yards in three of his last four outings while scoring two touchdowns over that span. He’s another strong RB2 in a great matchup vs. Arizona.
Can you play both Najee Harris and Jaylen Warren in the same lineup?
As mentioned above, the matchup doesn’t get much better than this for the Pittsburgh RBs. Because of that, Harris and Warren are both start-able in the same lineup, as each RB will likely see 15-20 touches with game flow working in their direction. Warren is the slightly better play in PPR leagues, but both make for solid RB2 options in Week 13.
