Is Curtis Samuel worth waiver wire add to fantasy football lineups ahead of Week 14?

We examine whether or not Curtis Samuel is worth a pickup in fantasy football leagues.

Washington Commanders wide receiver Curtis Samuel has been up and down this season. The Commanders will be on bye in Week 14, so this will be more of a pickup and stash for fantasy football playoffs.

Washington Commanders WR Curtis Samuel: Week 14 waiver wire

I would only put in a waiver claim for Samuel if you have injuries at your wide receiver position or have a big bench. Samuel is not available in a lot of leagues as it is, but he’s not worth starting over many of the top fantasy wide receivers anyways. There aren't any bye weeks in the NFL following Week 14, so the only concern for the fantasy football playoffs would be injuries.

The Commanders passing game has been all over the place and is trending in the wrong direction. The final four weeks of the season, the Commanders face the Los Angeles Rams, New York Jets, San Francisco 49ers, and the Dallas Cowboys. All four of those squads have been solid against the pass and I think it will continue here. Do not add Samuel unless your fantasy team is extremely banged up to the point that you would need to.
