The Dallas Mavericks will look to keep their winning ways going Wednesday when they meet a depleted Cleveland Cavaliers squad. The Cavaliers did shock the Bulls despite being down three starters, so Dallas can’t take this game too lightly. Plus, Mavericks point guard Luka Doncic is dealing with a quad injury. Here’s the latest on his status.

Luka Doncic injury updates

Update: Doncic is good to go for Wednesday’s game.

Doncic has officially been listed as questionable. The star has been dealing with several issues over the last few games, although he hasn’t actually missed a contest outside of the first game of a back-to-back set against the Rockets. Doncic is averaging 39.3 minutes per game as he tries to keep Dallas afloat while Kyrie Irving recovers from a heel injury.

If Doncic does sit this game out, Dante Exum likely takes over as the lead point guard. Exum has had a bit of a resurgence this season and appears to be a key role player for Dallas. Tim Hardaway Jr. is also likely to see an uptick in usage if Doncic is out.
