Best NFL games to stack for Week 17 in daily fantasy football

We go over our favorite games to stack for DFS on DraftKings for Week 17’s main slate.

There are a few games that stick out for stacks in Week 17 DFS on DraftKings. Aside from the two clear options, we may need to get a bit creative with the other game. Last week, Lions-Vikings, Panthers-Packers and Jets-Commanders were among some of the top scoring games in Week 16. This week, we’ll look at which games are the best to stack on DraftKings for the Sunday main slate.

NFL DFS Picks: Game Stacks, Week 17

49ers vs. Commanders

Christian McCaffrey ($9,600)
Brandon Aiyuk ($7,000)
Brock Purdy ($7,000)
Terry McLaurin ($5,500)

Admittedly, paying up for Purdy doesn’t feel great. You could also go the other route and play Jacoby Brissett ($4,900), who is replacing Sam Howell at QB. The Commanders should be forced to throw the ball a ton if they are trailing most of the game. If the Niners are ahead, it’s most likely because CMC is going off. Remember, the 49ers have plenty of incentive to run up the score on Washington in a game with seeding implications in the NFC. The over/under is at 49.5, which is the highest among Sunday main slate games on DraftKings Sportsbook. Aiyuk feels like the better play given his price vs. Deebo Samuel ($7,700). Logan Thomas ($3,500) is an interesting pairing if you roll with Brissett at QB.

Eagles vs. Cardinals

D’Andre Swift ($6,500)
Eagles D/ST ($4,000)
Kyler Murray ($6,300)
Trey McBride ($5,900)

This is a bit of an unorthodox stack. We get Swift and the Eagles D/ST pairing. The Eagles are at home and favored by 11 points on DraftKings Sportsbook. If that holds true, we should see a blowout and plenty of running plays by Philly. You could also throw Jalen Hurts ($8,300) into this stack in place of Murray. That way you don’t fall victim if Hurts vultures a few TDs from Swift. He has at least 18 carries in back-to-back games. The Eagles D/ST hasn’t been great this season but should be able to force a few turnovers and get to Murray. The Cardinals QB doesn’t have many targets but McBride has emerged as a top TE option due to injuries. Eagles-Cardinals has the second-highest total of Sunday games on DKSB at 48.5 points.

Panthers vs. Jaguars

Bryce Young ($4,900)
Adam Thielen ($5,900)
DJ Chark ($3,600)
Travis Etienne Jr. ($7,200)

This game should go overlooked for DFS stacking purposes but it makes a ton of sense. The Jaguars have been reeling and have allowed at least 30 points in three of four games during a four-game losing streak. The Panthers are coming off their best offensive performance of the season thanks to Packers DC Joe Barry, scoring 30 points in a 33-30 loss in Week 16. Young had his best game as a rookie in the NFL, throwing for over 300 yards and two TDs. Both Thielen and Chark were targeted eight times. Each caught six passes for over 90 yards and Chark scored twice.

Assuming the game is high scoring but Jacksonville has a lead most of the game, we’ll run back the Carolina stack with Etienne. The Jags are still favored by 7 points on DraftKings Sportsbook. Etienne hasn’t been effective during the losing streak but should get plenty of touches in a great matchup. The Panthers allowed Packers RB Aaron Jones to run wild last week, so we expect the same for Etienne.
