The Golden State Warriors will go on the road to face the Denver Nuggets on Christmas Day. This will be the second of four matchups that these teams will play this season. The Warriors are coming off a win over the Portland Trail Blazers, while the Nuggets took down the Charlotte Hornets in their last game.
Here are our favorite player prop bets for Monday’s game, with odds courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook.
Jamal Murray over 3.5 rebounds (-135)
Murray averages 3.9 rebounds per game. He finished with 12 against Charlotte, and that marked his fourth straight game with at least four boards. Murray didn’t play against Golden State when the teams matched up earlier this season, but he should still finish with at least four rebounds in the rematch.
Klay Thompson over 20.5 points (-105)
Thompson has been up and down this season, but currently he is hot. He averages 17.6 points per game but has finished with at least 20 points in six straight games and seven of his last eight. Thompson had 15 against Denver in November but was 5-12 from the field and 2-8 from three. He should finish with at least 21 points on Monday afternoon.
Nikola Jokic under 49.5 points + rebounds + assists (+114)
Jokic is obviously a superstar player that can do it all and do everything well. While big men are typically known to excel at rebounds and scoring down low, but Jokic is a shooting threat from three and gets his teammates involved with assists. Still, over 49.5 is a high mark for the reigning MVP.
Jokic has finished with fewer than 50 PRA in back-to-back games and in eight of his last 10 games. Despite his talent and usage, he should finished under 50 PRA on Monday.
