The Milwaukee Bucks (22-7) take on the New York Knicks (16-12) at Madison Square Garden on Christmas Day. Tip-off is scheduled for noon ET, and the game will air on ESPN. The two teams faced off on December 23, and the Bucks won 130-111.
Jae Crowder is out for the Bucks while Giannis Antetokounmpo is probable. Mitchell Robinson will miss the rest of the season with the Knicks after deciding to undergo surgery on his ankle.
The Bucks enter as 3.5-point favorites at DraftKings Sportsbook, with the total set at 242. Milwaukee is -162 on the moneyline while New York is +136.
Bucks vs. Knicks, 12 p.m. ET
Pick ATS: Bucks -3.5
The Knicks have yet to defeat the Bucks this season and with a shot at the top spot in the Eastern Conference within reach, Milwaukee should be able to easily take care of New York once again. Aside from Saturday’s 130-111 win, the Bucks met the Knicks twice in the In-Season Tournament and won 110-105 and 146-122. Antetokounmpo and Damian Lillard are nearly unstoppable as a duo and when you add Khris Middleton and the Bucks’ role players to that equation, the Knicks don’t have much of a shot here. Take Milwaukee to win and cover on Christmas Day.
Over/Under: Under 242
We’ve seen some very high-scoring and some lower-scoring games between these two teams this season. Saturday’s game hit 241 exactly, and I like the under to hit here. Bobby Portis may not put together another 23-point game for the Bucks, and the Knicks can step their highly-ranked defense up a notch after the tough loss at home.
