The Los Angeles Rams are on a roll and find themselves in position to clinch one of the NFC’s wild card berths. They won’t be clinching a playoff berth in Week 16, but they come out of Week 15 in control of their fate to a certain extent.

LA beat the Commanders 28-20 in Week 15, jumping out to a 20-0 lead before cruising to victory. They improved to 7-7 and moved into seventh place in the NFC playoff standings. They’re tied with the Vikings, Seahawks, and Saints. Minnesota has the conference record tiebreaker over the Los Angeles. LA in turn has the head-to-head tiebreaker over Seattle thanks to a season sweep, and a full game lead in the conference record tiebreaker over New Orleans.

The Rams host the Saints on Thursday Night Football in a game with massive playoff implications. It’s not an elimination game, but the loser will find themselves on the outside looking in heading into the weekend. The winner isn’t assured anything, but it does give them a critical leg up.

That game will be plenty important, but Rams fan will have a few games they’ll be paying attention to in Week 16 as the teams looks to improve its playoff chances.

Result: Rams beat the Saints 30-22 to go 8-7. They hold the 6th seed in the NFC for now.

Lions vs. Vikings

Result: The Lions beat the Vikings 30-24. That Vikings loss helps the Rams get a game up on them in the playoff standings.

The Lions sit three games up on the Vikings and Rams. They’re all but certain to clinch the NFC North, and with only three games left, there’s no reason for the Rams to want to catch Detroit. Rams fans will be rooting on the Lions in this one.

Detroit is a field goal favorite at DraftKings Sportsbook.

Seahawks vs. Titans

Result: The Seahawks beat the Titans 20-17 to tie up the Rams at 8-7, but the Rams have the tiebreaker.

The Rams swept the Seahawks this season, so they effectively have a one game lead over Seattle. Even still, a little more breathing room would be nice so it’s easy for Rams fans to root for the Titans.

Seattle is a 2.5-point favorite at DraftKings Sportsbook.

Jaguars vs. Buccaneers

Result: The Buccaneers beat the Jaguars 30-12.

The Bucs are 7-7 and sit in the No. 4 seed as the NFC South leader. That division is a mess with the Bucs and Saints at 7-7 and the Falcons at 6-8. However, any inter-conference matchup is an easy call, so Rams fans will be rooting for the Jaguars.

Jacksonville is a one-point favorite at DraftKings Sportsbook.

Colts vs. Falcons
Packers vs. Panthers

Result: The Falcons beat the Colts and the Packers beat the Panthers. That keeps both one game back in the playoff standings.

The Falcons and Packers are both a full game back of the Rams in the NFC standings. If they fell into a tie, LA has the conference record tiebreaker over Atlanta, but lost their head-to-head matchup with Green Bay. If these two lose, it moves the Rams a little closer to clinching a playoff berth.

Indianapolis is a 2.5-point favorite and Green Bay is a five-point favorite at DraftKings Sportsbook.
