With 10 games on Saturday’s main NBA DFS slate, there’s plenty of spots to find value plays to plug into lineups. Unlike NFL DFS, where one pick can make or break your lineup or it’s tough to find quality low-tier value, NBA DFS differs.
In NBA DFS, you can find quality value plays $5K or under that can give you a quick 10 points off the bench, grab some rebounds, or stuff the stat sheet. We are going to provide you with three players that you need to put in your lineup.
Ochai Agbaji, Jazz, $5,000
Agbaji is one of the few players not on a back-to-back set Saturday, which helps his case as a value play. Jordan Clarkson and Lauri Markkanen are both out, which means Utah needs offense from other sources. Agbaji went for 34 DKFP in the last contest, and has a favorable matchup against a bad Trail Blazers team.
Trey Murphy, Pelicans, $4,800
Update: Murphy is being given the second night of a back-to-back off due to his recent return from an injury.
We’ll see if New Orleans actually plays Murphy on both games of the back-to-back set, since he just returned from his injury Friday. He did only play 22 minutes, so there’s a chance he gets some run against a bad Bulls defense. Murphy went for 29.3 DKFP Friday and is due for another strong showing if he does suit up.
Bennedict Mathurin, Pacers, $4,800
The Pacers guard is in a bit of a slump, averaging just 15.45 DKFP in his last four games after going for 52.5 DKFP in the two games combined prior to this latest stretch. Tyrese Haliburton is listed as questionable for this game and if he sits, that means more usage for Mathurin. The Heat do present a challenging matchup, so there’s some risk here but Mathurin is worth backing in Saturday’s main slate.
