Why does Rob Gronkowski have a bowl game?

The legendary tight host will claim hosting duties of tonight’s LA Bowl.

The 2023 LA Bowl will kickoff at 7:30 p.m. ET tonight on ABC as the Boise State Broncos will take on the UCLA Bruins at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, CA. This will be the third edition of this fairly new bowl game and you may remember late-night host Jimmy Kimmel hosting the first two editions of the exhibition.

Well, Kimmel is out this year and has been replaced by none other than GRONK!

That’s right, legendary retired NFL tight end Rob Gronkowski is serving as the host for this year’s Mountain West Conference vs. Pac-12 postseason showdown. He was officially announced as the host back in October and immediately hit the ground running to hype the game up. We’ve already seen the future Pro Football Hall of Famer interact with both teams in the leadup to tonight’s game and we’ll be sure to get plenty of Gronk related shenanigans throughout the entire broadcast.

As has been the case for the past two years, the winning team will be awarded a championship belt as the trophy and that should be a fun sight to see. UCLA enters the game as a 6.5-point favorite at DraftKings Sportsbook, accompanied by a total of 47.
