The boxing influencer scene returns on Friday, December 15 as Jake Paul (7-1, 4 KOs) faces off with Andre August (10-1, 5 KOs) in an eight-round cruiserweight fight. The Caribe Royale in Orlando, Florida will be the site of the bout as coverage starts at 7:30 p.m. ET on DAZN.

Paul seeks a second straight win after a unanimous decision victory over former UFC fighter Nate Diaz in August. Paul suffered his first loss to Tommy Fury earlier this year on a February card in Dubai. The content creator turned boxer will be taking on a professional boxer for just the second time in his career.

August is somewhat of a journeyman, at 35, he won his last bout by unanimous decision over Brandon Martin in August. It looks like he took a step away from the ring as his last fight before the August bout took place in November 2019. Nonetheless, he fits the mold as yet another questionable competitor for Paul.

Before Paul and August close out the show, the undercard features some good action across several weight classes. Franchon Crews-Dezurn (8-2-1, 2 KOs) and Shadasia Green (13-0, 11 KOs) square off for the vacant women’s WBC super middleweight title in the co-main event. Green is a -700 betting favorite while Crews-Dezurn is the underdog at +475, per DraftKings Sportsbook.

Main Event Odds

Paul is a -650 betting favorite at DraftKings Sportsbook. August is the underdog at +425 odds. The favored method of victory is for Paul to win by decision at -135.
