Best NBA player prop bets to consider for Thursday’s games

We go over the lines on DraftKings Sportsbook and pick out our favorite player prop bets you should consider for Thursday’s games.

We have a nice slate of NBA action to look forward to tonight with seven games tipping off across the league. That presents plenty of opportunities to hit on player props courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook. We’ll go over some of our favorites below.

Nikola Vucevic over 18.5 points vs. Heat (+105)

Chicago has dropped two straight and will try to get back on track when playing the first of back-to-back games against Miami tonight. Vucevic is averaging 16.4 points per game heading into this showdown, but has been stepping up his production by scoring 20+ points in four of his last games. That correlates with Zach LaVine’s absence due to his foot injury and I think the former All-Star center will be up for another 20+ scoring effort tonight.

De’Aaron Fox over 30.5 points vs. Thunder (+114)

Fox is averaging 29.5 points per game and has a chance to up his season average when facing the Thunder this evening. OKC has put up 130+ points in back-to-back contests and a poor defensive team like Sacramento may once again be forced to engage in a shootout to have a shot at winning. That sets up nicely for the All-NBA guard and I’ll take the over on his point total.

Luka Doncic under 9.5 assists vs. Timberwolves (+105)

Doncic was dropping dimes left and right against the Lakers on Tuesday, tallying 17 assists in the Mavericks’ clutch 127-125 victory over the Lakers. He’ll have a tougher team distributing the ball tonight as he’ll be facing a Timberwolves team that is yielding only 24.4 assists per game, the fourth-least in the entire league. I’ll predict that he fails to crack double-digits in that category this evening and take the under.

Nicolas Claxton over 8.5 rebounds vs. Nuggets (+100)

Claxton is averaging 9.2 rebounds per game and has done an excellent job at hitting the boards as of late. He’s crossed double-digit boards in five of the last seven games for the Nets and will have his work cut out for him when going up against the Nuggets this evening. I think he’ll step up to the challenge and grab at least nine in this contest, so take the over.

Jamal Murray under 1.5 turnovers vs. Nets (+130)

Murray was a bit sloppy against the Hawks on Monday, turning the ball over six times in an eventual 129-122 victory for the Nuggets. Fortunately, he’s going up against a Nets team that is forcing a league-low 11.7 turnovers per contest. I’ll predict that Murray has a cleaner performance and keeps himself under two giveaways this evening.
