Top QB value plays for daily fantasy football in Week 15

We go over some of the best cheap options at QB for the main slate on DraftKings this Sunday.

We’ve got four more weeks left in the NFL regular season and this may be the most competitive football we’ll see down the stretch ever. The QB landscape has been a wasteland most of the season with players underperforming and injuries to key starters. As a result, we have a ton of backup QBs on the slate, even guys who were signed off the street not too long ago (who are still considered elite). Let’s look at some value options at QB for the Week 15 main slate.

Remember, we’ve got three games on Saturday and TNF, so fewer options for the Sunday slate.

NFL DFS Picks, Week 15: QB value plays

Matthew Stafford, LAR vs. WAS, $6,000

There aren’t a lot of good value options at QB this late in the season. Stafford gives us a pretty great one this week, though he could be on quite a bit of rosters on the main slate. Stafford has thrown at least three TDs in three straight starts, resulting in the Rams offense posting at least 31 points in all those contests. The Commanders couldn’t be a better matchup and the Rams are fighting to stay in the NFC playoff picture. We also know the Commanders should still be chucking the ball with Sam Howell. This game could end up being a shootout and is a great one to stack on the main slate.

Baker Mayfield, TB vs. GB, $5,700

The Packers just allowed Giants QB Tommy DeVito to score 17 fantasy points. So Green Bay could make Baker Mayfield look like Tom Brady. The Packers’ defense continues to struggle and injuries have been the biggest issue. There’s a chance that changes in Week 15 but the Packers should give up some big plays to Mayfield in the passing game. It’s difficult to find value QBs and Mayfield could get a little extra rushing upside vs. the Packers. Mayfield should be a good QB option for large-field tournaments since he shouldn’t be rostered much.

Desmond Ridder, ATL vs. CAR, $5,200

It feels gross recommending two QBs from the worst division in football. But the Falcons are in must-win territory tied at 6-7 with the Saints and Bucs in the NFC South. This should be a layup against the worst team in the NFL in the Panthers. Ridder wasn’t all that bad last week in throwing for 347 yards and a TD vs. the Bucs. Ridder can do some damage on the ground and this could be a spot he throws for multiple TDs.
