Jalen Hurts and the Philadelphia Eagles suffered their second straight loss as they fell to the Cowboys in Week 14, 33-13. The Eagles had a tough 42-19 loss to the San Francisco 49ers in Week 13, and with the loss to the Cowboys bringing them to 10-3, the Eagles have lost the lead in the NFC East. They are currently sitting in the top Wild Card spot in the NFC.

In the Week 14 loss, Hurts passed for 197 yards, no touchdowns, and no interceptions. This marked the first game of the season that Hurts finished without a score — he had one other game in which he did not produce a passing TD, but he added two rushing TDs in that game. The last time he faced the Cowboys, he had two passing touchdowns and one rushing score.

Hurts now has the fourth-best odds to win MVP, sitting at +650 at DraftKings Sportsbook behind Dak Prescott, Brock Purdy, and Lamar Jackson. Before Week 14 kicked off on Sunday, Hurts had the second-best odds to win at +350 behind only Purdy.

Hurts and the Eagles will have a chance to get back on top as the season wraps up. They face the Seahawks in Week 15, and then wrap up with two matchups against the Giants and one against the Cardinals. This slate should give them plenty of breathing room to retake the NFC East and give Hurts a shot to work his way back into the MVP vote.
