With 13 games on Monday’s NBA slate, there’s plenty of spots to find quality DFS value plays to round out lineups. Unlike NFL DFS, where one pick can make or break your lineup or it’s tough to find quality low-tier value, NBA DFS differs.
In NBA DFS, you can find quality value plays $5K or under that can give you a quick 10 points off the bench, grab some rebounds, or stuff the stat sheet. We are going to provide you with three players that you need to put in your lineup.
Isaiah Hartenstein, Knicks, $4,600
With lead big man Mitchell Robinson out, Hartenstein is in line for a prominent role in this matchup against the Raptors. Hartenstein only played 16 minutes in the last meeting between the two squads, tallying 16 DKFP. However, he managed 34.5 DKFP in 25 minutes against the Celtics. It’s clear Hartenstein is going to be more productive with more playing time, which he’s in line to receive tonight. The Raptors are a league-average side against opposing big men in fantasy basketball, so it’s worth backing the Knicks center here.
Josh Richardson, Heat, $5,000
Richardson checks in exactly at the $5k threshold. He’s averaging 20.3 DKFP per game this season, but that number has jumped to 25.8 DKFP over the last eight games. Richardson played 33 minutes in the last contest against the Hornets and racked up 24.8 DKFP. This is still an excellent matchup, as the Hornets are 25th in fantasy points allowed to opposing guards. Look for Richardson to deliver a solid outing Monday.
Bilal Coulibaly, Wizards, $4,800
The less hyped Metropolitans 92 prospect has been coming on of late, averaging 25.3 DKFP over his last three games. It’s hard to back a Wizards player in DFS due to the team’s general incompetence on both ends of the floor, but Coulibaly should continue seeing decent playing time. In 28 minutes against the 76ers last time out, the wing put up 25.3 DKFP. He should be able to get enough usage to deliver another decent performance tonight.
