The NFL MVP race continued to heat up in Week 14 as we saw several matchups between top quarterbacks in the Bills-Chiefs and Eagles-Cowboys games. Dak Prescott is making his case as the Cowboys continue to dominate, but the Eagles have an easy path ahead. Brock Purdy has also made his way into the race as the 49ers hunt for the top overall seed in the NFC, and Lamar Jackson is not letting his name slip out of contention.

The race is still fairly open as we head into Week 15. Here’s a look at how the top contenders fared in Week 14. All odds are courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook.

Dak Prescott (+160)

Prescott got his revenge against the Eagles, and the Cowboys now sit atop the NFC East following a key 33-13 win. Prescott finished 24-for-39 for 271 yards, two touchdowns, and no interceptions. With the win, Prescott moved into the top spot on the DraftKings Sportsbook odds boards to win MVP. He has passed for 28 touchdowns and six interceptions so far this season. Jalen Hurts fell from +350 to +650 with the loss.

Brock Purdy (+200)

Purdy’s presence among the MVP favorites has caused some controversy in recent weeks, but the 49ers kept rolling with a dominant win over the Seahawks in Week 14. Purdy finished the game with 368 passing yards, two touchdowns, and an interception. He has fallen from the top spot in MVP favorites, but the Niners now sit atop the NFC and hold the No. 1 overall seed heading into Week 15.

Week 14 MVP power rankings

1. Dak Prescott, QB, Cowboys
2. Lamar Jackson, QB, Ravens
3. Brock Purdy, QB, 49ers
4. Jalen Hurts, QB, Eagles
5. Tua Tagovailoa, QB, Dolphins

Week 15 matchups

Prescott and the Cowboys will have a challenge in Week 15 as they take on the Buffalo Bills, who are fresh off a win over the Chiefs. Hurts and the Eagles will take on the Seattle Seahawks, who kept things close with the Cowboys in Week 13. Geno Smith’s absence in Week 14 kept them out of the running with the 49ers.

Purdy and the Niners have a fairly easy week ahead as they face the Arizona Cardinals. The Ravens face the Jaguars, and the Dolphins meet the Jets.
