The Houston Texans take on the New York Jets in Week 14. Kickoff is set for 1:00 p.m. ET on Sunday, December 10. Tank Dell, the Texans’ second-leading wide receiver this season, suffered a broken leg in Week 13 and will remain sidelined for several weeks. Will Noah Brown see an increase in fantasy earnings in Dell’s absence? Let’s take a look.

Fantasy Football analysis: Texans WR Noah Brown

Brown had massive back-to-back games in November, finishing with over 100 receiving yards against the Buccaneers and the Bengals. He did not have any receiving yards last week against the Broncos. Nico Collins, the team’s leading receiver, remains healthy.

Brown has drawn a questionable tag this week with a knee issue. Check back at DKNetwork for injury updates on the WR.

Start or sit in Week 14 PPR leagues?

Start - if healthy.

Brown proved himself as a valuable receiver and consistent target in November, and now that he’ll have more of the target share, Brown should continue to put up significant yardage numbers. We can expect to see his name pop up a lot in the coming weeks as the Texans vie for a playoff berth.

Start or sit in Week 14 standard leagues?

Start - if healthy.

Brown averages 20.9 yards per reception. His yardage can stand on its own without PPR, and he should start in a standard league this week.

Player(s) you would start ahead of Noah Brown

Green Bay’s Romeo Doubs will be picking up slack for several injured receivers on the Packers this week, and I would start him ahead of Brown. Cincinnati’s Tee Higgins would be another good option this week, particularly after backup quarterback Jake Browning inspired confidence in the team’s offense last week.
