There are six games on the NBA slate for Friday, December 1. This limits the number of options for player prop bets, but that doesn’t mean there isn’t value to be found. With that in mind, here are our favorite player prop bets for Friday’s games, with odds courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook.
Paolo Banchero over 21.5 points vs. Wizards (-105)
The Orlando Magic took on the Washington Wizards on Wednesday, and Banchero finished with just six points. He played his fewest minutes in two weeks and attempted his fewest shots of the season while dealing with a minor ankle injury. The Wizards are 1-9 over their last 10. Banchero is a prime bounce-back candidate in this game, and even 22 points would be his second-fewest in his last six.
Joel Embiid under 48.5 points + rebounds + assists vs. Celtics (-120)
Embiid is questionable for the game due to an illness and even if he plays, I’m assuming that he will not play as many minutes as he usually does. This will be his third time facing the Boston Celtics this season. In the first, he played 37 minutes and combined for 41 points, rebounds and assists. In the second, Embiid finished with a combined 36 points, rebounds and assists over 34 minutes.
Zion Williamson over 23.5 points vs. Spurs (-125)
The Spurs have lost 13 games in a row and will face the New Orleans Pelicans on the road on Friday. Williamson averages 24 points per game this season and hasn’t scored fewer than 25 in six straight games. Spurs big man Victor Wembanyama is day-to-day due to a hip injury and may not play in this game. Williamson would then likely match up with Cedi Osman, giving him a good chance to surpass this total.
