The No. 23 James Madison Dukes take on the Georgia State Panthers in a Sun Belt matchup in Week 10. Kickoff is scheduled for 3:30 p.m. ET on Saturday, November 4.

JMU (8-0, 5-0) is one of just eight remaining undefeated teams in college football. The Dukes most recently pulled off a close 30-27 win over Old Dominion to stay unbeaten. Quarterback Jordan McCloud passed for three touchdowns and two interceptions in the win. The defense struggled to shut down ODU, but JMU has experience with tight games — this marks the third game that they have won by three or fewer points. McCloud has passed for 18 touchdowns and six interceptions so far this season.

Georgia State (6-2, 3-2 SBC) suffered a tough loss against Georgia Southern last week, falling 44-27. Quarterback Darren Grainger passed for two touchdowns and two interceptions in the loss, and running back Marcus Carroll rushed for an impressive 208 yards and two touchdowns. They also have a loss to Troy on their resume this season.

Here’s everything you need to know and a pick for the game.

Our Best Bet for James Madison vs. Georgia State

JMU -5.5

James Madison may not be eligible for a postseason, but that won’t stop them from going for the regular season Sun Belt title. This undefeated Dukes team has been rolling through the conference, and they should be able to effectively contain the Georgia State offense in this matchup.
